ESG grey is a thermally toughened safety glass based on grey glass, a tempered glass that provides a modern and timeless look thanks to its subtle, neutral tint. The uniform grey coloring reduces light transmission and heat transfer without significantly impairing transparency. Due to thermal toughening, it features significantly increased bending, impact, and temperature resistance; in the event of breakage, it disintegrates into small, blunt-edged fragments, thus significantly minimizing the risk of injury. Ideal for partitions, doors, facade glazing, and design elements where a calm, elegant appearance is desired. Available in thicknesses of 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, and 12 mm with polished edges, made to measure. Manufactured in Germany by Christian Adamer GmbH.

How much light does grey toughened safety glass (ESG) transmit, and how does it differ from bronze toughened safety glass?
ESG gray reduces light transmission through its neutral gray tint without significantly impairing transparency. Compared to ESG bronze, ESG gray appears cooler, more modern, and more subtle; bronze has a warm yellow tint, while gray has a neutral to cool tone. For timeless, minimalist designs, ESG gray is the more suitable choice.
