Bronze float glass is a high-quality clear glass based on float glass that acquires a warm, golden-brown tint through a continuous bronze coloration within the glass mass. The bronze glass gives rooms and glass applications an elegant, timeless atmosphere while subtly reducing light transmission without significantly compromising transparency. The uniform coloring provides an atmospheric appearance that blends harmoniously into both modern and classic interior design, ideal for door glazing, room dividers, tabletops, furniture applications, and decorative design elements. Available optionally with cut edges or polished edges, and custom-made to measure.

Both have the same bronze tint; the difference lies in the processing. Bronze float glass is not toughened and breaks into sharp shards. Bronze toughened safety glass (ESG) is thermally toughened, 4 to 5 times stronger, and breaks into blunt granules in accordance with DIN EN 12150. For safety-critical applications, bronze ESG is recommended.
