Opal flashed glass is a high-quality specialty glass that diffuses light as evenly and naturally as a dense cloud cover. This property makes opal flashed glass ideal for luminous ceilings in museums, shops, showrooms, atriums, and any other spaces requiring diffuse, daylight-like lighting scenarios.
The light sources behind the glass remain invisible, and uniform illumination can be achieved from a distance of just 20 cm from the light source, allowing for low installation depths and extremely shallow suspended ceilings.
Opal flashed glass is dimensionally stable, resistant to aging, scratch-resistant, non-combustible, and antistatic, making it the perfect glass for demanding lighting applications. Custom-made and manufactured in Germany by Christian Adamer GmbH.
