ROBAX® glass-ceramic is a high-temperature resistant special glass that was developed specifically for use in fireplace and stove applications. It provides a clear, undistorted view of the fire and combines high thermal resilience with reliable safety. Due to its unique material properties, ROBAX® is ideal for applications involving extreme temperature changes.
The glass-ceramic is characterized by nearly zero thermal expansion. As a result, the glass remains dimensionally stable even at very high temperatures and resistant to thermal stress. ROBAX® possesses high thermal, chemical, and mechanical resistance and is designed for long-term use in high-temperature environments.
ROBAX® glasses are available in various dimensions and geometries and can be customized to meet specific requirements. Depending on the version, transparent or translucent black variants are available. The consistently high material quality ensures a long service life and reliable function in daily operation.
